The Bahrain National Bureau for Taxation (NBT) has published a bilingual English-Arabic version of the Executive Regulations of the Value Added Tax Law. Bahrain's VAT regime was approved in October and will be implemented from 1 January 2019. Initially, only large companies are required to register, which includes those generating or expected to generate more than BHD 5,000,000 in annual supplies of goods and services.
