On 4 June 2014, the memorandum of understand for the automatic exchange of information between the Netherland and Argentina entered into force. The MOU was signed 15 May 2014, has retroactive effect from calendar year 2012. The MOU applies for income from real estate, dividends, interest, royalties, capital gains, income from independent personal services, income from dependent personal services, directors' fees, income from artists and sportsmen, pensions, income from government service and other income. Information needed for the correct determination of tax due will be automatically exchanged at least once per calendar year.
