The Australian Taxation Office (ATO) has issued two notes regarding the small business energy incentive and the temporary increase in the instant asset write-off threshold for small businesses in 2023-24. Both measures were approved as part of the Treasury Laws Amendment (Support for Small Business and Charities and Other Measures) Act 2024, which received Royal Assent (was enacted) on 28 June 2024.
