Aruba's Minister of Finance, Economic Affairs and Culture announced on 20 December 2020 the signing of a decree for the reduction of taxes (import duties) on construction materials from 12% to 10% with effect from 1 January 2021. The reduction is part of the government relief package (emergency fiscal plan) meant to support the reactivation of the Aruban economy.
