Aruba, Barbados and Bermuda Removed from EU Non-Cooperative List

The European Council on 17 May 2019 decided as expected to remove Aruba, Barbados and Bermuda from the EU black list of uncooperative jurisdictions (see {News-2019-05-14/P/2-here} for earlier coverage). Barbados and Bermuda have been moved from Annex I (black list) to Annex II (grey list, which includes jurisdictions which have made sufficient commitments to reform their tax policies, but are still under monitoring). In contrast, the Council determined that Aruba has met all its commitments and decided, therefore, to remove it entirely from both Annexes.
