According to recent reports, Anguilla has finalized the introduction of a new Goods and Services Tax (GST) regime with effect from 1 July 2022. When effective, the GST will replace interim goods tax, accommodation tax, environmental tax, communication tax, and the public entertainment levy. The standard GST rate will be 13% and the registration threshold will be annual turnover or expected annual turnover of XCD 300,000. Certain supplies will be zero-rated, including basic foodstuffs, commercial farming and fishing products, manufacturing products, exports, and others.
