According to a release from Hungary's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, officials from Angola and Hungary held talks on 10 July 2020 and agreed to accelerate negotiations for an income tax treaty. Any resulting treaty would be the first of its kind between the two countries and must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
