According to a release from the Andorran government, officials from Andorra and Belgium met on 10 January 2023 to discuss the strengthening of cooperation between the two countries, with Andorran Minister of Foreign Affairs, Maria Ubach, highlighting the importance of continuing negotiations for an income tax treaty. Any resulting treaty would be the first of its kind between the two countries and must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
