According to a joint press release published by Brazil's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, officials from Brazil and India signed an amending protocol to the 1988 income tax treaty between the two countries on 24 August 2022. The protocol is the second to amend the treaty and will enter into force after the ratification instruments are exchanged. Details of the protocol will be published once available.
