On 22 October 2024, the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) published an updated list of 132 Australian government entities that are registered on the Peppol network. The government entities appear on the Peppol Directory along with hundreds of state, territory, and local government organizations, and thousands of other Australian businesses that can receive eInvoices. As noted by the ATO, suppliers to any of the listed entities may be paid faster if they can send eInvoices. In relation to the updated list, the ATO also recently published a new Guide to receiving and processing eInvoices.
