Uruguay published Law No. 19.958 in the Official Gazette on 29 June 2021, which provides for the ratification of the pending social security agreement with South Korea. The agreement, signed 9 July 2019, is the first of its kind between the two countries and will enter into force on the first day of the third month after the ratification instruments are exchanged.
