On 15 November 2019, Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky signed the law for the ratification of the pending protocol to the 1993 income and capital tax treaty with the UK. The protocol, signed 9 October 2017 ({News-2017-11-08/T/5-previous coverage}), is the first to amend the treaty and will enter into force once the ratification instruments are exchanged.
