On 7 June 2019, U.S. President Donald Trump announced that the U.S. has reached a signed agreement with Mexico to address issues of illegal immigration at the Mexican border. As such, the new tariffs on goods from Mexico to be imposed from 10 June 2019 are suspended indefinitely.
