The U.S. IRS has announced an automatic extension of the individual income tax return deadline for the 2020 tax year from 15 April 2021 to 17 May 2021. Further, individual taxpayers can postpone federal income tax payments for the 2020 tax year due on 15 April, to 17 May, without penalties and interest, regardless of the amount owed.
