The United Arab Emirates (UAE) recently issued Cabinet Resolution No. (85) of 2022 on determining tax residence which will enter into force on 1 March 2023.

Cabinet Resolution No. (85) of 2022 introduced a set of rules for determining whether a person may be considered a tax resident of the UAE.
