It has been reported that as part of the Israeli Ministry of Finance's policy to renew Israel's tax treaties with important OECD member countries, negotiations for a new tax treaty between Israel and Germany are expected to be finalized shortly. Once signed and in force, the new treaty will replace the Israel-Germany income tax treaty of 9 July 1962.
