On 2 October 2023, the Council of Ministers of Timor-Leste authorized the signing of an administrative arrangement for the application of the pending social security agreement with Portugal. Once signed and ratified, the administrative arrangement, and the social security agreement, will enter into force after the ratification instruments are exchanged.
