According to a release from the Philippines Presidential Communications Office, officials from the Philippines and Timor-Leste met on 10 November 2023 and agreed to establish a social security agreement. Any resulting agreement would be the first of its kind between the two countries and must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
