Hungary has published Decree 55/2023 in the 16 June 2023 edition of the Official Gazette, which authorizes the Ministry of Finance to negotiate an income tax treaty with the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Any resulting treaty will be the first of its kind between the two countries and must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
