The Slovakian Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs has announced that the tax treaty between Slovakia and Kuwait and the accompanying protocol will enter into force April 21st, 2014. The treaty between the two countries was originally signed November 13th, 2012, and includes the following withholding rates:

• Dividends - 0%
• Interest - 10%
• Royalties - 10%
