On 17 October 2024, officials from Luxembourg and Oman signed an income tax treaty. The treaty is the first of its kind signed between the two countries and will enter into force after the ratification instruments are exchanged. Negotiations for an earlier treaty had concluded in 2011, but that treaty was never signed. Details of the latest treaty will be published once available.
