Hungary's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade announced on 15 April 2020 that three rounds of negotiations have been completed with Kyrgyzstan in relation to an income tax treaty. Any resulting treaty would be the first of its kind between the two countries and must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
