According to an announcement from Kuwait's Ministry of Finance, officials from Estonia and Kuwait held the first round of negotiations for an income and capital tax treaty on 5 November 2019. Any resulting treaty would be the first of its kind between the two countries and must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
