According to an update from the UAE Ministry of Finance, the income tax treaty with Ecuador entered into force on 1 August 2021. The treaty, signed 9 November 2016, is the first of its kind between the two countries.

Taxes Covered

The treaty covers Ecuador income tax on individuals and on societies and similar entities and covers UAE income tax and corporate tax.
