According to recent reports, officials from Azerbaijan and Portugal met on 30 October to discuss ongoing negotiations for an income tax treaty, with both sides confirming their commitment to sign a treaty. The treaty will be the first of its kind between the two countries, and must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
