The Taiwan Ministry of Finance has published the individual income tax rates and brackets for 2017:

• up to TWD 540,000 - 5%
• TWD 540,001 - 1,210,000 - 12%
• TWD 1,210,001 - 2,420,000 - 20%
• TWD 2,420,001 - 4,530,000 - 30%
• TWD 4,530,000 - 10,310,000 - 40%
• TWD 10,310,001 and over - 45%
