On 28 April 2014, the Slovenian Parliament ratified the protocol to the 2001 tax treaty with Luxembourg. The protocol brings the exchange of information article of the treaty in line with OECD standards. It will enter into force after the ratification instruments are exchanged and will apply from 1 January of the year following its entry into force.
