In the 2023 Official Independence Message to the Nation the Prime Minister of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Ralph Gonsalves, announced certain support measures for the country. The main direct tax measure is an increase in the salary threshold below which no personal income tax is charged from XCD 22,000 per year to XCD 25,000 with effect from January 2024.
