Rwanda on 5 July 2024 gazetted a new law establishing a tax on minerals. The law was passed by the Rwandan parliament as Law nº 056/2024 of 26 June 2024 and repeals and replaces from the date of publication the previous mineral tax law (Law nº 55/2013 of 2 August 2013).
