The 2014 protocol to the 1995 tax treaty between Belgium and Spain entered into force on 24 July 2018. The protocol, signed 15 April 2014, amends the competent authority in respect of Belgium and replaces paragraph 1 of Article 26 (Exchange of Information). The protocol is the third to amend the treaty and applies from 1 January 2019.
