The second protocol to the 2010 income tax treaty between Hong Kong and New Zealand entered into force on 9 August 2018. The protocol which was signed in Hong Kong on 15 June 2017, and in Wellington on 28 June 2017 amends Article 24 (Exchange of Information) to bring it in line with the OECD standard for information exchange.
