Officials from France and North Macedonia met on 22 July 2024 to discuss bilateral relations, including North Macedonia's interest in starting negotiations for a social security agreement. Any resulting agreement would be the first of its kind between the two countries and must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
