According to a release on the results of a government meeting held on 8 June 2022, the Czech Republic has approved the negotiation of a new income tax treaty with Montenegro. The treaty must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force and, once in force and effective, would replace the 2004 tax treaty between the two countries.
