On 14 June 2018, the Moroccan Council of Ministers approved the pending income tax treaty with Azerbaijan. The treaty, signed 5 March 2018 ({News-2018-04-24/T/5-previous coverage}), is the first of its kind between the two countries and will enter into force once the ratification instruments are exchanged.
