On 19 May 2014, Montserrat signed the tax information exchange agreement with Guernsey. The agreement had been signed by Guernsey on 7 April 2014.

The agreement covers Guernsey income and dwelling profits tax, and Montserrat income, company and withholding tax. It will enter into force and apply on the first day of the second month after the ratification instruments have been exchanged.
