According to a release from the Moldovan government, officials from Moldova and Slovenia met on 8 September 2021 to discuss bilateral issues, including Moldova's in negotiating the conclusion of a social security agreement. Any resulting agreement would be the first of its kind between the two countries and must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
