Moldova's Government has set the average monthly salary forecast for 2019, which is increased from MDL 6,150 to MDL 6,975. The average monthly salary is used for the maximum contribution basis for employee social security contributions (6%), which is equal to five times the average monthly salary forecast (MDL 34,875 per month or MDL 418,500 per year for 2019).
