On 23 March 2021, the Maldives parliament (People's Majlis) approved for ratification the:
- Convention on Mutual Administrative Assistance in Tax Matters, as amended;
- Multilateral Competent Authority Agreement on Automatic Exchange of Financial Account Information (CRS MCAA); and
- Multilateral Competent Authority Agreement on The Exchange of Country-By-Country Reports (CbC MCAA).
