Malaysia's Ministry of Finance has published a Public Consultation Paper for Budget 2023, the Implementation of GloBE Rules in Malaysia. As previously reported, Malaysia is committed to implementing the OECD's two-pillar solution for global tax reform as agreed to in the BEPS Inclusive Framework in 2021, which includes the GloBE rules. Comments on the paper are due by 15 August 2022.
