On 18 July 2014, Luxembourg ratified the pending social security agreement with Serbia signed 7 June 2013 . The Serbian parliament approved the law ratifying the agreement on 27 October 2013.  Once in force and effective, the agreement will replace the 2003 social security agreement between Luxembourg and Serbia and Montenegro, which currently applies.
