Luxembourg Looking to Sign New Tax Treaty with Oman
According to a release from the Luxembourg government, officials from Luxembourg and Oman met on 22 February 2018 to discuss various issues, including the swift signing of a new income tax treaty in line with OECD standards. Any resulting treaty would be the first of its kind between the two countries, although negotiations for a treaty had concluded in 2011, but the treaty was never signed.
