According to a release from the Kyrgyzstan Ministry of Economy, officials from Kyrgyzstan and the Slovak Republic met on 20 April 2022 for the second round of negotiations for an income tax treaty. Any resulting treaty would be the first of its kind between the two countries and must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
