According to a release from Jordan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, officials from Jordan and the Slovak Republic met on 24 June 2022 to discuss bilateral cooperation and agreed to focus on completing negotiations for an income tax treaty. The treaty will be the first of its kind between the two countries and must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
