On 11 June 2019, the Italian Council of Ministers approved the law for the ratification and execution of the pending protocol to the 1984 income and capital tax treaty with Ecuador. The protocol, signed 13 December 2016, is the first to amend the treaty and will enter into force after the ratification instruments are exchanged. Additional details will be published once available.
