On 28 October 2020, the Iraq parliament approved for ratification the pending income tax treaty with Kuwait. The treaty, signed 12 May 2019, is the first of its kind between the two countries and will enter into force after the ratification instruments are exchanged. Details of the treaty will be published once available.
