According to a release from the Iraq Ministry of Foreign affairs, officials from the Czech Republic and Iraq met to discuss strengthening bilateral relations, including the completion of an income tax treaty. Any resulting treaty would be the first of its kind between the two countries and must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
