The South African Revenue Service has announced reductions in interest rates effective 1 March 2011. The new interest rates are as follows:
| - | the interest rate on outstanding taxes, duties, levies, refunds on successful appeals, and on certain delayed refunds has been reduced from 9.5% to 8.5%; |
