The Hong Kong Inland Revenue Department has issued an advance ruling on the eligibility of an applicant for the concessionary tax rate (half rate) for qualifying corporate treasury centers. The concessionary tax rate is 8.25% considering the current standard rate of 16.5%. It has been available for qualifying corporate treasury centers since 1 April 2016.
