According to a recent release from the Kazakhstan embassy in Greece, officials from the two countries met to discuss bilateral relations on 9 February 2024 and agreed to start negotiations for an income and capital tax treaty. Any resulting treaty would be the first of its kind between the two countries and must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
