Germany follows Italy, France, and Poland’s steps in mandating e-invoicing in the business sector. The obligation is expected to be implemented as early as 1 January 2025.

 

The German Federal Ministry of Finance (BMF) has issued a document regarding the mandate. Feedback from selected enterprises has been welcomed by BMF and should be provided up until 8 May 2023.
